CONCERNING
STIPULATION OF IMPORT DUTY TARIFF OF IMPORTING RICE

MINISTER OF FINANCE

Considering:

• a. that in the framework keeping stability of domestic rice price and keep on attention of farmers and consumers, it is necessary to stipulate Import Duty tariff of importing rice;
• b. that based on consideration as described in sub-paragraph a, it is necessary to stipulate Regulation of the Minister of Finance concerning Stipulation of Import Duty Tariff of Importing Rice;

In view of:

• 1. Law No. 10/1995 concerning Customs Affair (Statute Book of 1995 No. 75, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612) as has already been amended by Law No. 17/2006 (Statute Book of 2006 No. 93, Supplement to Statute Book No. 4661);
• 2. Presidential Decision No. 20/P/2005;
• 3. Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 110/PMK.01/2006 concerning Stipulation of Systems of Classifications of Goods and Imposition of Import Duty of Imported Goods;

Observing:

Letter of Coordination Minister of Economics Affair No. S-96/M.Ekon/08/2007 dated August 31, 2007 concerning Stability Policy of Primary Food Material of Rice, Sugar and Palm Oil.

HAS DECIDED:

To stipulate:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING STIPULATION OF IMPORT DUTY TARIFF OF IMPORTING RICE

Article 1

Importing Rice is subject to Import Duty so become as stipulated in Attachment to this Regulation of the Minister of Finance.

Article 2

Provision in this Regulation of the Minister of Finance is effective to importing goods which its declaration of importing goods (PIB) has had Registration Number from Monitoring and Service Office of Directorate General of Customs and Excise of entry port since effective date of this Regulation of the Minister of Finance.

Article 3

Following the enforcement of this regulation, regulations about provisions of import duty tariff before effective date of this regulation while about goods as described in Article 1 of this regulation shall be declared null and void.

Article 4

The Director General of Customs and Excise is instructed to do provision in this Regulation of the Minister of Finance.

Article 5

This Regulation of the Minister of Finance shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, the Minister ordered that this Decree is to be published in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
